The decision was that of Wasps club owners in an effort to gain more exposure and strengthen the appeal of the tournament globally and of the game in the United Arab Emirates. It is backed by the full support of all parties involved particularly the opposing team who's sponsor, Etihad, will fly both teams to Abu Dhabi for the match. Not only will Emirates Palace host the game within the grounds of their luxurious hotel but also the team members from both sides and match officials. The Sky channel will be streaming live from Abu Dhabi to the UK and Ireland for die-hard fans who cannot make the journey. Wasps season ticket holders will be offered supporter travel packages on behalf of the club and the Abu Dhabi travel authority.
