What's on in Milan: February/March 2015

With just a few months to go until Expo, here's what's on in Milan with EXPO in Città.

Famous for fashion and business, Milan has often been overlooked as a cultural hotspot of Europe. But on closer inspection, this bustling city has an unexpectedly diverse cultural and arts scene.

Perhaps this common misperception stems from the challenges faced by visitors when finding out about what’s on in the city. And so, with millions of new visitors arriving for the World Expo, the Municipality and the Milan Chamber of Commerce of Milan have joined together with Expo Milano to create Expo in Città.

The aim of Expo in Città is to bring this powerhouse city’s cultural heritage to life this summer by making it accessible to both Italian and international visitors. It will also allow the city’s inhabitants to develop their own EXPO in Città events and therefore play an active, creative role in the city’s celebrations. Using the Expo Città website users will be able to discover thousands of events taking place all over the city, by month and by theme.

With only a few months to go until Expo the city’s activities are already underway. Here are a selection of events taking place in this month.
