First comes New York, then comes London and now it's Milan's turn to play host to the throngs of fashion professionals, journalists and celebrities who flock here to see the latest in Women's Ready to Wear for Fall/Winter 2011-12. Piazzas become fashion checkpoints, theatres and museums are transformed into event spaces and even the unlikeliest of places can serve as the venue for a runway show. Some of the biggest Italian brands wait until Milan Fashion Week to unveil their new collections and this year the list is full of heavy hitters. Gucci, Sergio Rossi, Armani, Fendi, Dolce and Gabbana, Versace...and the list goes on!
