La Cupola restaurant
Topped with a soaring glass cupola supported by eight marble columns, La Cupola is bathed in sumptuous natural light. This makes the restaurant an ideal spot for a business lunch, afternoon tea or Sunday brunch. And, being just steps away from La Scala, the restaurant is also the perfect venue for a pre- or post-theatre drink. Frequented by stylish jet setters and Milanese fashionistas, the restaurant is dominated by a delightful sculpture by Italian artist Lucio Fontana, “Medusa’s Head”, in which pieces of glass mosaic reflect the countless colors and continuously changing rhythm of lights and shadows reflected from the dome above. For people searching for relaxed sophistication in a comfortable and stylish environment, La Cupola’s cozy and refined atmosphere represents an oasis in the heart of Milan.
The Park Bar
Featuring ceiling to floor window views of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, with modern décor of glass, metal, black leather and contemporary art, The Park Bar is ideal as a meeting place, and famous for the buffet-style lunch and pre-dinner aperitifs. Offering both traditional and innovative aperitifs and a vast selection of liqueurs, champagnes and wines, expert bartenders are happy to make recommendations. Cocktails are served with delicious appetizers of varying culinary cuisines which change weekly.
The Spa
The Spa at the Park Hyatt Milan is focused on creating the perfect balance between mind, body and soul. And it does just that in its comforting and intimate surroundings designed to relax and rejuvenate even the most stressed of business travelers. With its clean lines, mellow lighting and walls in Venetian stucco, The Spa includes men’s and women’s steam rooms, aromatherapy showers and a magnificent 24-carat gold mosaic whirlpool. There are two treatment rooms, where guests can enjoy massage, facial and body treatments, as well as professional salon services. Don't miss the spa’s Bamboo Massage, in which warm bamboo canes are vigorously used to relieve strain by stretching and extending the muscles and tissues, resulting in a wonderfully invigorated body and mind. Also available are deep tissue, four-hand, and hot stone massages.
The Spa was designed with the awareness of just how important privacy can be to some clients, and the Private Spa Room, perfect for total privacy or privacy as a couple, was created for just this reason. Offering a steam room and two treatment beds for massages, the Private Spa Room features three sensory showers: a wall shower, a ceiling shower and an “emotional” shower that releases cold mist combined with eucalyptus essences accompanied by a soft blue light. The spa was designed as a refuge for those in need of a respite from the demands of a busy urban life, and the skilful staff are well prepared to create an individual and holistic treatment program designed to meet the specific needs of every guest.
