Vida Rica Restaurant and Bar
This signature restaurant is on the second floor of the hotel, with panoramic views, and it offers a tantalizing selection of Chinese and contemporary Western cuisine. It is led by executive chef Dirk Haltenhof. As well as the main dining area, there are four semi-private rooms, and the Chef's Table for a fully private dining experience. The interiors are spectacular in their design, with floor-to-ceiling glass walls. The Chinese team led by master chef Lam create Cantonese classics with the freshest seafood from the market. At lunch, Lam's perfectly prepared Dim Sum is a favourite, including steamed abalone and chicken rice roll, and steamed shrimps and scallops rice roll. Restaurant menu signature dishes include Tossed Teochew-style fish salad, with Sashimi salmon strips, shredded roast duck, crunchy vegetables, water melon, jelly fish with peanut-sour plum sauce, and one of the chef's favourites, Steamed jumbo crab claw with winter melon, honey glazed sea cucumber and deep-fried garoupa. Seafood is available fresh from the tank, and there are Australian and French oysters.
For guests who prefer European cuisine, executive chef Dirk Haltenhof prepares a colourful and well-balanced range of delights, with Mediterranean flavours, Portuguese dishes, organic dishes and more. The menu features a range of food and wine pairing options, with 16 wines available by the glass.
The Bar is exciting in its décor, with sleek marble and chrome, and impressive double-height ceilings and windows through which to enjoy the evening lights of Macau. There are three interactive bar counters, with a Cocktail Bar, Champagne and Tapas Bar, and Coffee Bar. The Cocktail Bar offers a complete drinks menu, including several Mandarin Oriental signature cocktails inspired by the Macau environment. At the Champagne and Tapas Bar, you can enjoy wines served by the glass, premium wines and champagnes, accompanied by enticing tapas and appetizers. The Coffee Bar presents a range of speciality coffees, with delicious chocolates and pastries.
Lobby Lounge
The Lobby Lounge is an ideal and relaxed setting in which to enjoy traditional afternoon tea, chosen from an extensive menu of premium loose leaf teas. There are many Asian and Western snacks available. The venue is popular with locals and shoppers from the nearby One Central as well as with guests. Lobby Lounge is open from 10.30 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day.
The Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop
The Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop is located next to the Lobby Lounge, and it serves delectable home-made chocolates and pastries in individual and attractive packaging designs so that they are ideal as gifts as well as for enjoying in situ. The products available include sandwiches, freshly baked bread and cakes, and customizable gift hampers. The Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop is open from 10.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day.
