Lindner Golf & Ski Hotel Rhodania
Golf in summer, skiing in winter, and much more
The Lindner Golf & Ski Rhodania hotel receives a large number of returning guests, visitors who are so happy with the hospitality that they keep coming back year after year. This is partly due to its perfect position, in the spectacular landscapes on a plateau at 1,500 metres height, with views over the Alps. Of course, the golf facilities are an important part of the hotel's attraction in summer, and likewise the skiing in winter. Hole 3 of the Plan Bramois golf course is actually right in the hotel park.In the photo below, the world-famous Severiano Ballesteros course.

The 42 individually-furnished rooms and suites provide a superb view of the golf course and the Alps beyond.
Art Déco restaurant

At the Lindner Golf & Ski Hotel Rhodania, the much-loved characteristics of Crans-Montana and Valais become pure romanticism, with cosy rooms in a snowy setting amongst unforgettable landscapes, hearty Swiss breakfast with Bircher muesli, fragrant croissants, Valais rye bread and Alpine cheese, and of course, dinner at Art Déco, where you can enjoy the local cuisine in a friendly and courteous atmosphere. Be sure to try the chocolate fondue, a memorable experience.

Other facilities
The piano bar is a great place in which to relax with a drink, and chat about what you've been doing during the day, whether it be skiing, golf, or the other activities available in the vicinity, such as total relaxation on the hotel's sun terrace, summer skiing, tennis, hiking, riding, swimming, mountain biking, ballooning, fishing, rafting and paragliding.
The hotel has four conference and banqueting rooms for various functions, hosting up to 100 people.
In winter, the ski lift right outside the hotel brings you into contact with a winter sports paradise, with 160 km ski slopes and 40 km of cross-country trails. Cross country skiing is possible in summer on the Plaine Morte glacier, at an altitude of over 3,000 metres.
To return to golf, as well as the Severiano Ballasteros course, there is the Jack Nicklaus 9-hole course, four times named the finest nine-hole course in Switzerland. Both are run by the Golf Club Crans-sur-Sierre. There are two more courses close by, the Super-Crans course above Crans-Montana, and Noas at Chermignon. Both these courses allow beginners without a handicap to play. A further two courses, Sierre and Sion, in the Rhône Valley, offer very different surroundings. There is yet another 18-hole course at Leuk.
The hotel is open for the summer season, about 10 June to 30 September, and from about 12 December to the beginning of April.
