Leon's Place
Elegant post-modern design in classic Rome
Upon entering the lobby of Leon’s Place, guests immediately experience an urban design approach that penetrates every corner of the hotel. Throughout the interior, the tasteful minimalist design incorporates lovely shades of grey, black and white, with accents of expressive purple. The floor of the lobby is in black and white marble, and from the ceiling of this great hall hangs the dramatic centerpiece: a black crystal chandelier, from which descends a black velvet swing. Leon's Place is part of the Hotelphilosophy luxury hotel chain and is member of the prestigious Design Hotels network. Thanks to its revolutionary design in the very heart of the Italian capital, it stands as a reference for the most contemporary hotel architecture. Hotel Philosophy Creative Department undertook the task of converting the 19th century palazzo into a post-modern design masterpiece. And they achieved their goal magnificently with contemporary interiors that perfectly complement the 19th century façade.

Located on Via XX Settembre, Leon’s Place is perfectly situated on a quiet street within walking distance to many of Rome’s main attractions, not far from the Palazzo del Quirinale, the home of Italy’s President. The 56 rooms, including 4 junior suites, boast a clean, cool design, with fine textiles and plush carpeting. Some rooms have small terraces looking onto Via XX Settembre or the internal courtyard, and all have bathrooms featuring varying colors of Carrara marble. The hotel has two theatre-style meeting rooms that can host up to 120 participants. And the cool Visionnaire Café is the perfect place to grab a cocktail or light meal. The hotel also offers excellent wellness facilities, including massage services, steam room, sauna, fitness room and Jacuzzi.
Leon's Place's 56 rooms and suites are mainly decorated on the black, white and pearl grey tones. A luxurious but post-modern style that blends in with the historic soul of the palace, homaged and exalted during the renovation. The sophisticated design melts into the harmony of the original architecture, made of decorated ceilings and balconies embellished with neoclassical cast iron columns. The tick carpet, the magnificent padded headboard, the black polished furniture and the mirrors that spread through the surfaces are reflected through the accurate lighting. The rooms are equipped with all comforts: cable TV with LCD screen, cable Internet connection, phone, independent air-conditioning system, safe, mini-bar and a complete bath nécessaire. Some of the rooms have a private balcony that opens on a panoramic view of Rome's historic centre. The bathrooms, spacious and bright, are built with the precious Carrara polychrome marble.
Dining
One of the main services offered by Leon's Place is the wide gastronomic variety available on the buffet breakfast menu, served in your room or in the elegant breakfast room. In the restaurant guests can find a tasty light meal to enjoy with a cup of wine or Champagne, or organize a degustation dinner choosing between many refined cuisines.
Visionnaire Café
Cocktails are super-glam at Visionnaire Café, which is a beautiful venue for socializing in the evening. Its lounge interiors are popular as locations for exclusive events, for which a giant screen can be installed for multimedia capabilities. Coherent with the hotel's design identity, the interior is visually original, with a pearl grey, black and white colour scheme, and the bar itself decorated in silver mosaic. The Café also serves tea, coffee and snacks throughout the day.

Meeting
Leon's Palace's central location, close to the Ministries, the Embassies and the Central Banks, plays an important role in the choice of this brand new roman design hotel. Leon's is equipped with two convention and meeting rooms able to hold from 10 up to 170 people. The Sala Andromeda and the Sala Cassiopea are the perfect choice business meetings. The exhibition area is of about 200 squared meters. This high-end design hotel represents a great alternative to those who need space and wish to offer not only an event but also a location in Rome's historic centre.
