The recently-refurbished déor of Le Burgundy restaurant unfolds gracefully around the black-paved patio with designer chairs in wrought iron and white fabric. The sense of space is enhanced by giant mirrors. There are enticing views into the 500-bottle wine cellar, a prelude to the delights offered by the fine labels on the list. Chef Pierre Rigothier prefers a short menu that changes regularly, highlighting seasonal produce. A superb prelude to dinner is provided by Bar Le Baudelaire and its cocktails, fifty different champagnes and forty cognacs!
