Hotel Majestic Roma
An exclusive hotel in one of Rome's most beautiful historic buildings
Created in 1889 by the architect Gaetano Koch on the exclusive Via Veneto, the Hotel Majestic Roma was a grande dame from the beginning, with a Carrara-Marble lobby, a ballroom with a fresco ceiling that could hold 120 people and all you would expect of downtown’s premier hotel. Designed in the shape of a piano in order to take full advantage of its enchanting surroundings, the hotel is renowned for its elegant design and its impeccable service. The Majestic is a veritable jewel of neoclassic elegance, within walking distance from the Borghese Art Gallery and its amazing gardens and the heart of the city shopping district, Spanish Steps and Via Condotti where all the major houses of fashion have their ateliers.
Since its inception the Majestic has attracted a discerning clientele, including both local and international celebrities. The hotel reached massive popularity in the 1920s, when it epitomized the luxury of that golden age, and again as a symbol of Roman glamour in the 1960s after appearing in Fellini’s La Dolce Vita. Appropriately, photos of celebrities are displayed throughout the public spaces, reminding guests that if the Majestic did not exist, the city would surely have to invent it. H.N. 7.6.10

Rooms and Suites
Boasting views of either Via Veneto or surrounding gardens belonging to the Cappuccini Friar's Convent, the rooms and suites at the Hotel Majestic make no compromises when it comes to luxury. Inspired by E.J. Ruhlmann, the genius of high-style French Art Deco, some guestrooms are featuring extravagantly patterned fitted carpet and vividly coloured textiles. Same use of gentle and simple lines, almost imperceptible curves, for guestrooms showing wengé hardwood floors in contrast with glossy white-lacquered furnishings. A brand new concept of elegant modernization of traditional forms and techniques.
The fifth floor San Isidoro suite overlooks the magnificent church of the same name, and it features hardwood floors, a separate lounge area, 2 bathrooms, and a breathtaking private terrace. The Via Veneto Suite has a king size bed, 2 bathrooms, hardwood floors, private lounge area, and a superb private terrace overlooking Via Veneto with lounge furniture and a Jacuzzi whirlpool tub making it the perfect setting for enjoying your own dolce vita.
