Hotel Caruso
"Closer to the sky than to the sea"
"Closer to to the sky than to the sea" is how André Gide described Ravello. From here, the azure sea and sky speaks directly to the soul and heart of visitors. The building was formerly a private home dating back to the 11th century. It has long been a hotel, and recently it has been restored to its original glory. A jewel within the jewel constituting the magical Mediterranean scenery. The showstopper is the open-air heated infinity pool, with evocative Mediaeval ruins on one side, and infinite shades of blue stretching out before you.
