A stunning design hotel with a superb restaurant

Gezi Hotel Bosphorus was designed by famous Turkish architect Sinan Kafadar, at the heart of the city of Istanbul. In its design, it blends antique, traditional elements with modern motifs and technology. For example, the building is faced with an unusual shield panel based on diamond-shaped high-tech tiles; and the functional panels in bedrooms also have an art and design element because they were inspired by Mondrian's paintings. The hotel's services include complimentary wi-fi throughout, fitness centre and spa, 24 hour room service, laundry and dry cleaning, and valet parking.

Rooms at Gezi Hotel Bosphorus all feature quality bed with Dunlopillo zero chemical latex customized beds, with goose-down pillows. Technology includes wi-fi high speed internet access, 32" interactive HD TV, pay per view movies, wireless keyboard on request for internet surfing using the Power TV, laptop size digital safe and more. All rooms have Bosphorus, park or garden view, with extra-clear windows for non-reflection views. In bathrooms, marble cladding, Molton Brown bathroom amenities, rain shower, Titan bathrobe and slippers, vanity mirror, sound system and bathroom phone. The luxurious Loft Suites have a 55 square metre floor area on two levels, with whirlpool bath in the bedroom, mood lighting with changing colours, and remote controlled curtains and fixtures.

The G'nova Restaurant and bar at Gezi Hotel Bosphorus, open to both hotel guests and external visitors, offers superb panoramic views over the Bosphorus. The menu, devised by Culinary Art Chef Eyup Kemal Sevinç, features contemporary Mediterranean cuisine, with a variety of meat and seafood specialities, delicious salad options, and freshly-made desserts. The wine list presents a quality selection of local and international labels. The ambience is pleasant and relaxed, with the "timeless design" approach that hallmarks work by architect Sinan Kafadar.

Colours are in mink brown and bordeaux red shades, and décor is classic in atmosphere and modern in design. The restaurant is exceptional for its fine dining service: guests are welcomed by a professional team as soon as they enter the restaurant, who provide their sophisticated culinary knowledge to ensure a memorable dining experience. The restaurant is open every day from 7 a.m. to midnight, dress code smart casual, booking recommended.

The meeting facilities at Gezi Hotel Bosphorus include four conference rooms and a foyer, with modern furniture and design elements ideal for conferences, seminars, banquets, workshop, training events and executive meetings. Their capacity can be varied from 8 to 45 guests. Design and technology are state-of-the-art, with touchscreen control panels for lighting, audio volume, screen performance, and room temperature.

The new Fitness Center & Spa opened in January 2011, and it represents a new Spa concept for luxury hotels. It offers all traditional Spa facilities, including hammam, jacuzzi, steam bath, steam and adventure showers, as well as massage, body treatments, and healthy dining options.
