Fonteverde Natural Spa Resort

A destination that seems to be set in the landscape of Renaissance paintings

Fonteverde is located amidst the splendid scenery of the Siena hills, in San Casciano dei Bagni, Val d'Orcia. A vast natural park, crossed by the river Orcia spreading to the south of Siena. An area close to the majestic mount Amiata, where there are olive groves, vineyards, streams and loamy fields combined in an atmosphere of magical harmony.

This small, elegant Relais hotel is therefore in a setting of peace and nature, with Italian styling and hospitality. The building is a Medici residence restored to its former beauty. The hotel offers 66 rooms, 11 Junior Suites and 4 Suites, with richly decorated premises and terraces looking onto fields and verdant hills.

It was built in the 17th century by the Grand Duke Ferdinando I de' Medici, in a location of hot springs whose therapeutic properties had been appreciated since ancient times. The large spa centre offers various treatments and medical services, as well as natural hot spa water, seven therapeutic pools, a holistic centre and a beauty centre.
