Boscolo Venezia

A historic hotel in an ideal Venetian locale

Most visitors arrive in Venice with romantic visions of lingering canals, mysterious lagoons, Renaissance palaces, and wondrous works of art. Venice is all this and more, and a stay at the Boscolo Venezia enhances and enriches the romantic experience that is Venice. Housed in a 17th century townhouse, with a large internal garden opening onto the lagoon, the Boscolo Venezia embodies the soul of the city that surrounds it. Originally an aristocratic residence, then a monastery and more recently the Embassy of France and Savoy, the building was beautifully converted into a hotel in 1998. With its precious marbles, splendid frescoes, and majestic chandeliers, guests will feel as if they’ve been transported to Venice's glorious and majestic past.

The hotel is convenientely located at the centre of Venice, but it is removed from the most crowded streets. It is in fact hallmarked by a wonderful sense of peace, especially when strolling along the paths of its 3,000 square metre, 19th century English-style landscaped garden. In the summer months, breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking the garden, and for lunch and dinner, La Zoia serves local and international specialties in a spectacular garden location. For wine and cocktails, the hotel’s Lounge Bar Doge Orseolo offers an intimate space in which to socialize and unwind. The hotel is also home to the Medical Spa ClubH2O, offering a variety of massages and beauty treatments.

Rooms and Suites
The Presidential Suite offers the best way to enjoy the hotel’s dreamlike surroundings. All of the hotel’s 72 rooms are attractively designed, featuring high ceilings and period décor. The junior suites have all been individually designed, and all include oriental carpets, 18th century wardrobes, and Murano glass chandeliers. Many of the junior suites overlook the garden, and those on the ground floor open onto the magnificent Grand Hall.
