Boscolo Milano

A festival of colour and design in this hotel at the heart of Milan's fashion district

boscolo exedra milano

The Boscolo Exedra is an extraordinary festival of design and colour on Milan's luxury hotel scene. Architect Italo Rota masterminded the conversion of a bank into a hotel, introducing a wealth of chromatic interest in the form of stained glass, multicoloured sculptures, and other visually attractive features. The entrance in particular, with its red accent, provides a splash of colour that sets the hotel apart from the monochromatic buildings adjacent, in its location at the heart of Milan's fashion district. The hall, reception and restaurant are organized into a single, open-plan area. There are 154 guest rooms, amongst which nine theme suites. All feature state-of-the-art technology and in-room entertainment, and sleek designer furniture. Other facilities include three sophisticated restaurants, a smart lounge bar with champagnerie, and four fully-equipped conference rooms. In addition, there is a luxury spa for intense sensorial enjoyment and relaxation.

Rooms and suites
The guestroom interiors at Boscolo Exedra Milan feature contemporary design, with superbly sophisticated lighting fixtures and unique touches of 1970s style. There are 136 superior and de luxe rooms, eight Junior Suites and nine Thematic Suites, all with distinctive visual design and a collection of Italian art objects and designer furniture. The Presidential Suite provides 1,614 square feet of pure prestige luxury. All rooms feature cutting-edge technology, including plasma TV and personal digital safe. Other amenities include luxurious bathrobes, a choice of pillows, minibar, and a selection of toiletries in the bathroom with a courtesy line of 52 fine products exclusive to Boscolo.

The Fish Restaurant
This sophisticated, cosmopolitan venue has fascinating interiors featuring a varied range of artworks. Its Italian cuisine is based on locally-sourced ingredients, prepared in an open-plan, open-to-view kitchen whose lighting was designed to enhance the visual appearance of the foods. The restaurant includes a private dining room for up to 18 guests, seated at an oval Murano glass table.

Arlecchino Lounge Bar
The Lounge Bar includes a Champagnerie area, and its overall visual design creates an evocative mood. Classic and creative cocktails are served, together with culinary preparations from the The Lambruscheria Meat&Wine restaurant, open all day.

Spa Suisse
The Spa Suisse at Boscolo Exedra features interiors with the same "bubble" motif that hallmarks other areas of the hotel. The Spa presents a range of revitalizing and relaxing treatments, such as biostimulant monochromatic light, which encourages the regeneration of skin tissue and collagen production. Another high-tech treatment is based on ultrasonic body waves, in which the "sweeping" process produces a phenomenon known as "modulated cavitation" in tissues. This causes the breakdown of adipose tissue by means of the lyseing of adipocytes, whose fat contents are then drained by the lymphatic system. The results of this process are a visible reduction in the volume of fatty tissues and the progressive remodelling of body profile. The treatment also eliminates the fibre-nodules of cellulite, significantly reducing the degree and extension of orange-peel skin.

The Spa also offers a range of facial cosmeceutical treatments, such as skin Hyperpigmentation treatment, impure skin treatment, sensitive and couperose skin treatment, and anti-age D.M.A.E. treatment. In particular, the latter offers efficacious anti-oxidant and anti-wrinkle effects.
The Spa's principal body treatment is the Spa Suisse thermal process, which provides remarkable results in terms of cellulite reduction and a diminution in adipose tissue, by means of the high concentration of pure Plankton and the minerals contained in Fucus and Laminaria seaweed extracts, together with the active principles present in Guaranà. Treatment begins with a thermal peeling enriched with mineral salts, and then a revitalizing mud bath with plankton, seaweed and Guaranà extracts. This is followed by a massage with Spa Sachet and massage oil that leaves the skin silky smooth and encourages the treatment's drainage effect.

The Champagne and Rose-petal treatment is performed using a valuable extract of French champagne grapes and rose petals. The result is a unique treatment, in which fragrance and richness are combined to form a magical result. A peel enhanced by valuable rose petals is followed by a massage with an oil rich in active detoxifying principles derived from Vitis vinifera, the vine plant, and the moisturizing components of rose petals.
Other unique treatments include "pure gold," in which the precious metal is used for its oxygenating and anti-age properties, in combination with its detoxifying and revitalizing effects for the skin. The Cosmeceutic lipo-modelling treatment is an anti-cellulite process activated by phosphatidylcholine. The Thalasso-cosmeceutical treatment firms up body tissues, exploiting the thalasso-therapeutic properties of Atlantic seaweed in combination with cosmeceutic research.

The Cosmetic Massage Candle gives your skin new luminosity, manufactured using the finest vegetable oils that nourish, tone and moisturize the skin. Gommage techniques are based on papaya and coconut, which provide a revitalizing tropical effect. Relaxing massages are provided using aromatherapy oils such as Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, pure olive oil, almond oil, or apricot and papaya.
