AC Santo Mauro Madrid

The former residence of the Duke of Santo Mauro, this hotel has a distinctive touch and French influence

The former residence of the Duke of Santo Mauro, this hotel is located in the centre of Madrid, very close to the Paseo de la Castellana. The hotel’s restaurant has been located in what was previously the palace’s library, and it offers a menu offering a combination of international cuisine with traditional culinary preparations. In addition, it offers a wide selection of wines from the best Guaranteed Origin regions. Have a dip in the indoor heated swimming pool, and enjoy all of those fine touches that are a feature of AC Hotels.

This palace with its fin-de-siècle style, was commissioned by the Duke of Santo Mauro, and designed by French architect Louis Legrand. The building, with its notable French influence, was the residence of the Duke of Santo Mauro, and it later became the embassy of the Philippines.

The palace has been converted, with the library renovated as a restaurant, and the ballrooms converted into meeting rooms, with their great French windows leading into the garden.

The hotel has a splendid 700 square meter garden that includes the oldest chestnut trees in Madrid. In summer the garden is open as a restaurant, which becomes an attractive setting for business dinners, with its central location adding to its allure.

The bedrooms have a host of exclusive details. There is a 24 hour room and laundry service, butler service, transfers to the airport, and private car park.
The latest technology is incorporated, without in any way detracting from the palace's original architectural style. There is a wi-fi Internet connection for all clients in the hotel’s communal areas, including the garden.
