The award-winning Eden Spa at Le Meridien Abu Dhabi features a wide range of treatments to suit every need. Its latest Spa Ayurveda Package is an excellent introduction to Ayurveda, a traditional Indian alternative medicine. The treatment begins with a detoxifying Abhyangam herbal massage, where dosha-specific oils are chosen to re-harmonise and re-energise. This is followed by a Podikizhi massage, which uses a combination of herbal powders in a heated compress, which improves circulation, stimulates the nerve endings and is believed to promote sound sleep and increase immunity levels. The 90-minute package ends with a deeply relaxing Dhara treatment, where a continuous stream of warm scented oils is applied to the skin.
