Marbled Paper

Both Venice and Florence have long traditions of producing fine, marbled paper products. In Venice, there is certainly no lack of shops that sell the marbled stationery, but finding something of quality can be a bit of a challenge. The Legatoria Polliero bookbinding shop sells wonderful notebooks, wrapping paper, frames and journals (both marbled and not), and the Legatoria Piazzesi, the oldest stationery shop in Venice, has been selling the beautifully made paper items since 1851.
