One Central Macau

One Central is a prestige location in Macau, providing both the attractions of a tourist focus and the peace and calm of a harbourside area with fantastic views over Nam Van Lake and Sai Van Lake, as well as the three bridges that link Macau to Taipa. Above all it features a flagship shopping mall. It was opened very recently, on 6 December 2009, after development by Shun Tak Holdings and Hongkong Land Limited.
One Central Macau is the prime shopping area in the city. Covering a total area of 400,000 square feet, it presents many lof the world's leading luxury brands, with a remarkable array of flagship stores. The façade feature duplex and multiplex store fronts, and the architecture was designed to provide views over the lake. The international brands present include Bottega Veneta, Celine, Emporio Armani, Gucci, Loewe, Loro Piana, Montblanc, Officine Panerai, Ralph Lauren, Tod's, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Gucci, Fendi, Ermenegildo Zegna, Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Cartier, Bvlgari, Bally, Furla, Kenzo, Max Mara, Pal Zileri and Burberry.
As for Macau itself, this city on the south-eastern coast of China is fast developing a reputation as one of the most dynamic and fastest developing cities in the world. It features a unique blend of Portuguese and Chinese cultures, and it is fast evolving from a small and idiosyncratic city into a global playground. It is attracting international luxury brands, glamorous casinos, up-to-the-minute entertainment activities and world-class hotels. Not to mention the Grand Prix, important cultural locations, and distinctive cuisine. The landmarks include the ruins of St. Paul's, Senado Square and Mount Fortress.
