IWC and Dunhill flagships stores in Hong Kong
No doubt for many luxury travelers, the shopping experience has gone far beyond simply buying something. This is particularly true for gentlemen, who expect design, style, and a little fun when they step into a boutique.
Take the IWC new flagship store in the prestigous 1881 Heritage in Hong Kong as an example. This is where you can delve into the vast world of the watch company while choosing your next watch.
The beautiful store presents IWC’s watch collections – the Portuguese, Da Vinci, Ingenieur, Aquatimer and Pilot’s watches. This boutique also debuts the brand new “IWC Collection” which offers handpicked items and accessories that complement the watches. Beyond a shopping experience, you will feel like being in an exclusive club. The Classic Lifestyle Wing is designed like the cabin of a luxury yacht with the Navigator’s Lounge as the focus; while the Sports Lifestyle Wing features the Aviator’s Lounge, where there is a flight simulator right next door for the adventurous shopper!
Another wonderful concept store where shopping gets more adventurous is Dunhill’s Shanghai and Hong Kong boutiques. The West Villa is host to the hidden Alfred Dunhill Shanghai Home. The Home perfectly reflects the brand’s four pillars of masculinity, functionality, quality and Britishness. The large shop contains a Travel and Discovery Room, featuring leather luggage and accessories, exclusive limited edition products and iconic pieces.
It also offers the first of its kind in China, the “Vintage Programme” which is a great collection of antiques. The second floor even has a White Shirt Bar and a dedicated menswear area offering both formal and casual wear. The brand also recently reopened its new concept store at Pacific Place mall in Hong Kong, echoeing its Shanghai location. Quaint objects around the shop and the Chesterfield sofa are a unique British touch to this boutique.
