Ristorante La Sinfonia
Seven Stars Galleria, Via Silvio Pellico 8, Milan
With the Neoclassical Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II as background, guests inside La Sinfonia Restaurant at the Seven Stars Galleria are treated to a rare dining experience in a restaurant that is modern in appearance and function, yet is perfectly inserted into 19th century Milan with its connections to art and opera. The décor is elegantly intimate, punctuated by low-hanging chandeliers, Rosenthal Studio china and Sambonet flatware. The restaurant also provides 24 hour in-room dining for those guests who prefer the private luxury of their own suite.
The internationally-renowned head chef Riccardo Ghironi presents an original form of cuisine, in which simplicity is allied to wellbeing. Natural cuisine in which art is combined with expertise and nutritional balance. During his career, Ghironi has had the opportunity of working with several international chefs, enabling him to incorporate new areas of skill in order to create his own authentic and innovative style of cuisine. In 2009, he won a gold medal for his hot dishes, and a silver medal for his cold recipes, at the International Kremlin Culinary Cup in Moscow. His career includes medals at contests held in Italy and Germany, and experience at Bistrò in Moscow (with master chef Massimo Ferrari), Anteprima at Chiuduno (near Bergamo, with Daniel Facen), and at the Accademia Barilla in Parma.
