Noble Court
Grand Hyatt Beijing Hotel 1 East Chang An Avenue, Oriental Plaza, Beijing
The Forbidden City, the world’s largest palace complex to have survived the past, is an absolute must-see when visiting Beijing. The structure itself is now a museum, which houses artwork and artefacts from the Ming and Qing dynasties. Although definitely worth it, the high level of tourists gathering may leave you wanting a quick escape and a hearty meal. A short distance from here is the Noble Court restaurant. Chef Goh serves up his favourite seasonal contemporary Cantonese and Southern Chinese dishes, artfully presented as well as dim sum at lunchtime, a much loved tradition among the locals.
