La Ría

Innovative Basque cuisine can be found just across the street from the Guggenheim Museum in the avant-garde Hesperia Hotel. La Ría Restaurant, headed by chef Jorge Bilbao, serves creative local and seasonal cuisine in light-filled, minimalist surroundings. Bilbao, who trained under renowned chefs Martín Berasategui and Fernando Canales carefully selects only the most prime ingredients to produce his traditional Basque dishes with a modern twist. The wine list is an extensive to tribute to Spanish wine, offering a wide selection of the local red Ribera del Duero, among other select regional choices.
