M on the Bund

5 The Bund, Shanghai

Shanghai’s Bund district provides the setting for M on the Bund, an award-winning restaurant that combines nostalgia for Shanghai’s glamorous past with 21st design and creative cuisine. Located in the historic Nissin Shipping Building, M on the Bund offers spectacular views of the Bund, the Huangpu River and the skyscrapers of Pudong. Using classical European techniques, the kitchen, under the direction of Chef Hamish Pollitt, produces an array of international cuisine, from European, to Middle Eastern, to North African dishes. Pollitt sources as much as he can locally and imports only the best ingredients to recreate his classic European dishes. All breads, desserts and ice creams are made in-house. In addition to lunch and dinner, M on the Bund also offers a spectacular weekend brunch, and afternoon tea on Saturday’s and Sunday’s.

Luxos Recommended Menu:
Seared tuna served on a not-so-classic Salade Niçoise or the slowly baked salt-encased leg of lamb
