Pastelería El Riojano

Pastelería El Riojano is one of Madrid’s oldest patisseries, founded in 1855 by Dámaso Maza, personal pastry-chef to Queen María Christina of Hapsburg. It has had its share of illustrious clients over the years from royalty to literary figures such as Jacinto Benavente.
