Koi Kei Bakery
24A Rua de S. Paulo, Heng Va, Macau
The history of Koi Kei began with a modest family business which progressed from a small cart selling peanut and ginger candy into its first store in 1997, one of many locations all over Macau (and now beyond) today. As popular with locals as it is with tourists, Koi Kei now sells over 300 different specialties including almond cakes, candy, beef jerkey and most the most famous, Portuguese egg rolls.
Although there stores are located all over Macau and Hong Kong, LUXOS recommends the Rua de S. Paulo address as it is one of the oldest and allows you the chance to dine within the historical colony. For something new and different, try the Portuguese style pineapple pastry or maybe you will find something else more appealing, with a whole department dedicated to inventing new recipes the choices are endless!
