Located in the centre of Berlin next to Alexanderplatz and the TV Tower, Lux 11 is a renovated 19th century building with a very modern interior. It is a building not without its history as it was previously home to a KGB operated telephone surveillance station that monitored the phone conversations between East and West Berliners before the fall of the Berlin Wall.
The hotel's 72 designer apartments are decorated with soft brown leather curtains, parquet wood, raw concrete and bathrooms with rain showers. Perfect for those guests staying for a few days or longer each apartment also has a working desk and a kitchenette. Some rooms also boast views of Alexanderplatz and the TV Tower.
The hotel also boasts an Aveda hair salon and a designer boutique. Right next to the hotel is the Prince restaurant for Asian and Italian food or a cocktail in the evening.
