Barcelona prepares for the second Wine & Culinary International Forum

Glorious Barcelona brings together major figures from the world of fine wine and cuisine in the second year of the Wine & Culinary International Forum.

Leading figures from the world of fine dining will unite in Barcelona for the second year of the Wine & Culinary International Forum, a biannual international conference on the harmonious interrelationship between wine and cuisine. Under the theme of "Creativity and Market", sommeliers, chefs and renowned journalists at both Spanish and international level will discuss and analyse in-depth the relationship between wine and cuisine, looking at the models of success of some of the world's most important international wine markets through workshops, cooking demonstrations and talks.

The international speakers to participate at the conference include:

Gérard Basset: Wine MBA and 'Best' Sommelier in the World
Jeannie Cho Lee: Respected wine critic and the first Asian woman to hold the 'Master of Wine' title. Jamie Goode, the well-known British journalist and wine critic.
Canadians François Chartier and the chefs Stéphane Modat Canada
Vineet Bhatia (United Kingdom/India)
Daniel Ovadia (Mexico).
From Spain, Josep Roca, Owner of El Celler de Can Roca, Lucas Payá, Wine Director at the José Andrés; Chef Nando Jubany, owner of Can Jubany, Manuel Martínez, Owner of the Parisian restaurant Le Relais Louis XIII and Ferran Centelles famed Sommelier at El Bulli, 2000-2011.
