Founded in 1898 the building, Las Arenas Balneario Resort was built on the site of a traditional balneario. It was the first grand hotel in the Valencia region frequented by the great and good of the day and has been largely rebuilt to reinstate its natural glory. The hotel has a classical look combining the architectural beauty of the historical Balneario Las Arenas resort including colonnades with the elegance and comfort of modern design. The hotel's privileged beachfront location offers impeccable ocean views and is near the vibrant city of Valencia.
The 243 rooms and 10 suites are decorated in neutral tones with lots of natural light. Half face the Mediterranean and have large balconies. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The Sorolla Brasserie serves Mediterranean cuisine with plenty of Valencian specialities. The modern and bold menu is carefully created by Chef Jose Maria Baldo and his team. From March to the end of September, you can have breakfast out on the terrace. Lighter meals are available by the pool or opt for a cocktail mixed by the award-winning Iván Martínez.
Swimming is always easy and a pleasure at the Spa Las Arenas: either in the warm heated pool with a view of the gardens open all year round, or in the historical outdoor pool designed in the 30s by the famous Spanish architect Luis Gutiérrez Soto. The flash new Las Arenas Spa offers personalized treatments and chromo-therapy in a stainless steel exercise and entertainment themed pool.
