Three Concept Stores You Can't Miss in Abu Dhabi

Explore fashion through Abu Dhabi's top concept stores.

Paris Avenue

Paris Avenue is the place for unique pieces by sassy labels from all over the world – it sells shoes from Italy's Giacomo Morelli and Japanese label Tsuru by Mariko Oikawa, plus the Pippa Collection of handbags from London's-based Modula (named after English socialite Pippa Middleton). The woman behind the store, Saudi entrepreneur Houda Cassim’s vision is a simple one – to stock unique, and usually handmade, fashion essentials from up-and-coming labels.

Minibart

Emirati Sheikha Alia Al Qassimi opened Minbart in 2014, and it’s become one of the go-to places for unique international and local brands. The name is actually a play on the Arabic word minbar, which means platform art in English, and the store has worked with more than 40 designers since it opened including Frame Denim and US fashion guru Audra Danielle Noyes.

Tryano

You could easily spend a whole day at Tryano, a concept store covering three floors in Yas Mall. As well as stocking international and local brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Paul Smith and Clarins, it has its own pastry shop La Pâtisserie des Rêves, a kids’ play area (think tree houses and carousels), plus a hair salon.
